| "This small well run boutique hotel is stunning with wonderful service and great views of the beach. It is paradise at the right price. Do not expect a large scale, ornate hotel.
It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return.
We were in the smallest bungalow which was very nice. Next trip we would request an ocean view.

| "Perfect location, great staff, fantastic value.
We arrived very late, but the staff were all ready for us, and checked us in very promptly with no hassle.
Garden rooms (where we stayed) seem to be smaller than the other rooms, but actually the location and position of these were the best in the hotel (with the execption of the sea views).
I absolutely would go back, at 28GPB per night fantstic value." |

Garden view room is small but very clean & comfortable, to my surprise it do not have TV in the room which will bored us at night!!!
It include a free dinner for every stay there.
Overall I will recommend this hotel if you are staying at Karon beach." |

| "What a great Hotel!! Everthing was perfect: Friendly service everywhere in the Hotel, awesome garden, nice swimmingpool, right at the beach. The restaurant "On the Rocks" is very delicious. The room (Garden-View) was not very big but clean and nice!! When I go back to Phuket I would absolutely stay again in this Hotel. The location is also nice, not in the busy Patong! Best Hotel we stayed in in Thailand, 5*!" |

| "I stayed at the Marina for 6 days in Febuary 2007 with my fiancee. We both loved it. We wanted a romantic place and the bungelos were secluded and romantic. The grounds were beauifully maintained and very attractive, The pool was nice. The beach adjoins the property and we were able to walk there in two minutes.
The staff all seemed to speak English and bent over backwards to be polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide range of foods.
The restauant was very nice with open air dining available and live Thai music. The shopping area is right there. Minature golf is next door, many restaurants are within a few minutes walk along with shopping.
I would not think of going anywhere else and hated to leave. The only negative I could think of is there is no TV in the rooms if that is important to you. There is a big screen plasma tv in the lounge area near the office and a group movie some nights. They do have free internet access and we were given a free dinner in the restaurant one night which we had not expected.
All in all, we loved it and would go back in a heartbeat." |

| "OK, some brief comments:
1) When we fistly saw the location of that hotel we were quite shocked because the reception is directely located at the main road of Kata/Karon Beach (very noisy and busy road)and we just came back from a 3 days tour and have been staying at the very nice and very quite Mangosteen Resort (close to the nice and quite Nai Harn Beach)before that!
2) When we arrived our Seeview Villa was not ready and we got an upgrade to the Grand Villa (I was still pissed because that means unpack and pack again etc.)
3) When we arrived at the Grand Villa everything was forgotten. A butifull location and a Villa, unbelievable! Beautiful room, bath room, living room etc. with a perfect sea view! You can not hear a bit of the busy world outside!
4) The day after we moved to our Seaview Villa which is still very nice but can not be compared to the Grand Villa. Also very quitely located close to the sea!
5) Breakfast was good but not as good as at the Mangosteen Resort (e.g. no Caffe Latte or Espresso available) but still high class
6) Restaurant was OK but the ROCK is much better
7) Stuff sometimes not as friedly as expected in Thailand!
Overall, I would go again but you also pay for it!" |
