We stayed in the hotel from 18 May to 22 May. The location is great, central and close to the action and the beach. Hotel was bigger in size than expected, everything was quite organised and service was reasonable. As for the room, the flushing system of the toilet needs to be improved. The water from the tap is yellowish. And the sink was not working well but was promptly repaired after we made a call.
Overall, quite happy with the hotel. A suggestion - to have more activities for the guests eg. yoga or simple massage techniques other than the cooking session.

| "This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at the Patong Merlin.Because of our previous visits, a bowl of fresh fruit and a "Welcome Back" card was on the table in the room.A nice gesture.The only downside was the check out.We requested a late check out,but we were told the room was already booked and not available.I am 76 years old and my wife is 73.We were expecting to rest in the afternoon because our flight did not leave Phuket until 8-45pm.We were told by reception previously,that we had to tell them on check out date and it could be arranged on payment of 500baht.Apart from this we enjoyed our stay.Could you please pass this on.Thank you.

| "We have stayed at Patong Merlin on several occasions and would stay again and again. Location is perfect, staff are friendly, breakfast is great, pools are the best and the grounds are huge. Even if the hotel is full, you don't realize it because of the set up of the facilities. We have tried many hotels in Patong Beach and we find that the Patong Merlin can't be beaten." |

| "This was our 3rd stay at the Patong Merlin, we've always had great service, the staff are very friendly & are only too happy to help. The amenities are more than adequate. The resort is very well cared for including the grounds, we feel like it's our home away from home. We are always recommending the resort to anyone thinking of visiting Phuket." |
