| "It is definitely a good location becos it's located at the beach side and nearby a shopping centre which is only by walking distance. The three swimming Pools in the hotel are fit enough to serve the number of hotel guest tentatively. But i afraid that if their new block is commence it operation, the swimming pools might be too crowded. I hope that hotel could install a wireless on every room. Whatever, i was very satisfy with their comfortable room and environment." |

| "We stayed in the hotel from 18 May to 22 May. The location is great, central and close to the action and the beach. Hotel was bigger in size than expected, everything was quite organised and service was reasonable. As for the room, the flushing system of the toilet needs to be improved. The water from the tap is yellowish. And the sink was not working well but was promptly repaired after we made a call.
Overall, quite happy with the hotel. A suggestion - to have more activities for the guests eg. yoga or simple massage techniques other than the cooking session. " |

| "We stayed at Patong Merlin from the 6 to 12 May 2008 and We found the housekeeping & bellboy staff very friendly and helpful.
The reception staff were not very friendly or helpful and their communication skills could be improved.
The staff in the dining room, especially at breakfast, were tooooo eager to clear the tables. This happened while we were getting our different courses and we would either come back to an empty table or to find other guests had been placed at the table. This became VERY frustrating.
The swimming pools were a GREAT HIT and we also enjoyed the location of the hotel.
Also as SMOKING is allowed in the rooms this travels through the ducted airconditioning and the smoke filters into the room so when you come in from outside all you can smell is cigarette smoke which made it very unpleasant. To clear the room of the stale and fresh cigarette smoke we opened the sliding doors BUT THEN the room then became hot. We ALSO tried spraying the room with air freshner to combat the terrible odour but to no avail. " |
