We were a group of 9 and had requested to be in the New wing at Patong Restort. We arrived at 10am and we were not expecting our rooms to be available, but were taken to our rooms in the new wing.
The rooms where fantastic and very large, and we were all together which was very pleasing.
The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble if a request was made.
The location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted.
We couldn't of asked for better accommodation.
We will certainly be using this hotel again.

| "Our second stay at Patong Resort and it keeps getting better. Great staff who are always willing to help and so friendly. Food is always fresh and tasty. We cannot fault the resort as it had everything we needed for our stay. If this is your first trip to Phuket, then I personally recommend Patong Resort. " |

| "On arrival late at night we were given two rooms in the main hotel area. The corridors smelt musty and decor tired. The room was rather dingy and there was litter under the bed. Our children in the adjoining room chased and disposed of four crawling insects during the night. That's the bad bit.
The following morning I reported the above to the duty manager, who without argument moved us to two rooms away from the hotel in the Garden area. We found the rooms quite exceptional - fresh, well decorated with excellent bathrooms.
The location of this hotel was ideal - our room was just 200m from Bangla Road and close to the food markets (try the bbq squid at the "99" hawker) and from the lobby only a short walk to Patong Beach (Molly Malones Irish Bar, MacDonalds etc).
The second pool was being refurbished during our visit, but the workers did not disturb us at all.
Breakfast was very good. Small criticism that there was no tea and coffee making facilty in either room (we bought an electric jug and a few cups at the local hardware store for about $15 - cheap solution).
In summary, if you get a room in the Garden Area, you'll love it." |

| "I`ve been staying several times at Patong Resort and this is the first time I`m not satisfied with the room.Most because of the location,right across the main building and reception,with traffic right outside almost all night and morning.I had better rooms,maybe I paid more.This room was cheap so I guess it`s acceptable." |
