5/5  Posted by MR. BERMAN, Steven, United States in June 2008
"Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite at Peach Blossom, slightly further up the hill. The facilities were beautiful, great room and bathroom, and the infinity pool is fantastic with a poolside bar. Great views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant is only fair, typical for most hotels. The only minor drawback to this hotel is the uphill location. If walking, this does get a bit tiresome after a few trips and makes you think about how often you plan to come and go. Walking to either Kata or Karon beach only takes a few minutes. We didn't much care for the surrounding area and moved on to Phi Phi after 2 nights, but this had nothing to do with the hotel. Once you're on the grounds, it's a very nice place. "

"we have stayed at peach hill many times always been okay. if i got one of the back rooms i would not be happy these rooms are terible.they are going to build a new 5 story block instead so may be okay next year still got 100 steps to breakfast talking of breakfast we stayed 12 nights and only got bacon 2 times they said it was to expensive but still cheap enough at all the bars.seem to cater for the asian breakfast more.on the whole peach hill is okay. "The room is bare and basic on the first floor without lift. Balcony is facing another person's roof. It is quiet even though there is a bar downstairs. The breakfast which starts at 6.30am is not ready by then - no explaination on the delay on 27 Feb morning. Day tour pick up is at 7am. We hardly have enough time for our breakfast."

"We had a standard room and it was really noisy. I'm sure other rooms and bungalowes are much better in this sense since they are located much further from a busy street. Breakfast is good!"

"Everything was just perfect. Love this hotel and will definately be back. A little steep hill from the street level to the hotel, but nothing to complain about. Congrats with a splendid hotel."

"Our friend stayed at the basic room and he was not happy with the room quality. However, we were booked into the deluxe room and we were happy with what with get for the money we paid. Peach Hill is essentially a bugget hotel and to me. It is good value especially for travellers who would like a clean and convenient place to stay while spending most of the time at the nearby public beach. The new wing swimming pool is gorgeous. The spa service is nothing great, but the complimentary cookies served is to die for. The spa staff are friendly, and happy to help order the cookies for take away if you fancy some. I bought a kilogram. Overall a very happy stay."
