| "First time I have ever used Asiarooms. All the hotels were good. We loved the Royal Paradise hotel. I took 3 of our 7 children and we had a ball. The location is fantastic, the facilities are great, especially the pool area. It was clean and the staff were very helpful.
The bathroom were a bit out dated, but still clean and the showers were good.
We are booking the same hotel for next year and taking all the kids." |

| "Very near to the beach, centralised location. Clean and have an overall view of the entire patong beach. However , room is alittle worn out. Overall value for money" |

| "If you want to be in the thick of Patong Beach action, this is the place to stay without overspending. An easy stroll through some “interesting” streets to the beach. It is, however, like many hotels in Asia, a little tired now. But the people were tops and the value for money good. If you want a quite and pristine place to “get away”, stay at Karong Beach or somewhere not so close to the ubiquitous markets, Indian tailors and thumping nightclubs. Be sure to ask for a room on the quiet side of the complex, otherwise you won’t get any sleep.
If you want to be close to the “spice” this is the place for you.
Excellent pool and good breakfasts.
Very helpful, charming staff.
Mattresses were quite hard -- but I liked them.
Took a day or so for the air con to clear out the musty smell.
If, like the cranky European couple who verbally abused the check-out staff when we arrived, you expect to be treated beyond human reason, stay at home and consult with your mirror.
Next time I would book at Karong Beach since I don’t care if I ever see another night market or get harassed by another tuk tuk driver as long as I live. But, hey, I live on the water at Port Macquarie, Australia. Why would I leave home?" |

| "Service at breakfast (Coconut Restaurant) could be better. Waiter's attitude- when asked to re-fill coffee, waiter told the guest to get it himself at the coffee corner even he was carrying the pot out from the kitchen" |

| "Stayed at the Royal Wing for 3 nights from 14 to 17 June 2008 & I must say the location was fantastic. Though it appeared quite far away from the main street as seen on the map but it's not true. Walking down to Jungcelyon shopping centre was a breeze & about 10-15mins walk to Patong Beach. A lot of nice food just across the hotel. The downside was the noisy pubs just opposite our hotel so if you are the kind who sleep early, I would recommend you to book the Paradise Wing instead.
Breakfast was good, not much to complain though. Would be good if they could add in the pancake section and have different types of food. It can be boring to have the same thing everyday.
My partner & I will definitely stay in this hotel again for our next trip. Thumbs up!" |
