The facilities and rooms are absolutely stunning but the resort is a little remote so I would combine this hotel with another in a more lively area.

| "I stayed in the Sala Pool Villa for 4 days. My experience from the time I step out of my car until the day I checked out and step into the car again has been more like a dream in paradise. During checked in, you are offered a choice of pillows, soap scent and also scent of the aromatherapy of your room. The pool is big enough and very clean. The shower, toilet and bathtub are all outside but you still have your own privacy. The minute you checked in, everyone seems to know you by name. Even on the last day, the lady at the resaurant knows I am checking out today without me even telling my name or room number. The private beach was perfect. You have places within the hotel compound that you could be all on your own. If you treasure privacy and romantic atmosphere, this is the place to be. The service is excellent, where you will get genuine smiles at any time of the day, from the reception to the gardener. I would definitely return to the hotel next year. " |

| "We had planed to stay 6 nights at the Sala Phuket but checked out after 3 nights. We were totally disappointed by the service level, which is NOT the service level of a so called 5 star hotel. I believe there is problem with the management not training their staff properly.
The worst was the service at the restaurant. A real joke ! Never seen that anywhere else and I travel extensively. Mistakes in orders or serving food at the right table, never had the same waiters/waitress, lots of confusion. Food served too quickly (we had barely finished our main course that desert was there on the table... not even 2 minutes in between..) or too late , had to wait 40 minutes + for our main course to be served. Rice served cold. No breakfast buffet, but "à la carte" and there also many mistakes..
Regarding room service, systematically forgot one of your orders when delivering.
Laundry : they deliver to me the laundry of a man ! Had to call laundry service, their english speaking was so bad... Too 30 minutes before they understood they had made a mistake and search for my cleaned clothes.
Villa was coming with Wifi connection but it propably worked 2 hours within 4 days. Technicians was not able to fix it and explain why it was not working... They made us changed villa but still nor working, we just wasted one afternoon trying to sort this out.
Guest service : I called a couple of times to book taxis for next day. When I called 5 minutes before our reservation time, they did not know what I was talking about and had no reservation.
Room cleaning : was superficial, floors not washed, private pool cleaned once in 4 days. Only the bedroom of the villa is indoor, the rest is outdoor , toilets and bathroom included so not convenient when raining.
Overall this this level of service is not acceptable and has no excuse especially at a period of the year when resort is half empty..
We regret we wasted our money and time there." |

| "Excellent experience during my getaway stay at the Sala Pool Villa. This resort is new and secluded from rest of phuket, quite near to JW marriot. If you want a really private and relax time with your family or love ones this is the place for family and honeymooners. I like the serenity and peacefulness to the resort. The secluded beach is just near to the resort, its safe due to the guards around. The villa comes with a private pool and outdoor bath area, i would say it is quite an experience! The open dining area faces the beach is wonderful and nice. You get the sea breeze and sunset view while having your dinner. It's beautiful and unforgettable. The stay comes with breakfast, nice breakfast selection and you can either choose to have it at the restaurant or enjoy in the comfort of your villa. Service and staff were excellent. Resort comes with free internet access. If you do not mind dealing with everything else like meals, spa, bars, within the resort which is a hike this is a resort you would not want to miss. " |
