My wife and I stayed at Salathai for eight nights in June/July 08 and we were delighted with the accommodation. We are Seniors and have stayed at Patong Beach 4 times. This is the first at Salathai and we will stay here again. Close to beach and night life yet it is quiet of a night, no noise from the bars! We stayed in a deluxe room at pool side as their are no lifts and we did not want to climb stairs, so I do not know if there is more noise higher up. To get a ground floor unit next to the pool you have to pay for at least a deluxe unit. Air conditioning was the best we have experienced at Patong and TV has a world wide coverage. Breakfast was not large, but what was supplied was quite acceptable and filling. Staff were friendly and did an excellent job. Room was spotless and the Pool is great.
You get what you pay for and this is good value.

| "the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly at all times and their grasp of english was acceptable. The location was perfect close enough to everything and quiet enough too enjoy peace when required. most things were within walking distance. The breakfsat while adequate didnt have the largest selection, but what was available was always great, It would not put me off from visiting the salathai again. great value for money, I will go back." |

| "This is a well located hotel in Patong,only a few minutes walk from the wonderful beach,good restaurants and nightlife.Hotel breakfast is good and I found the staff to be very friendly and willing.
There are better hotels in Patong,but not at this price.It has everything that I need,ie.,a clean room,a good pool and great staff." |

| "We stayed at Salathai for 14 nights in July and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It is a small resort in a quiet, tropical garden setting, only a few minutes stroll to the beach. The position is great, shops, bars nearby and the huge Jungceylon shopping complex about 10 minutes walk away. The Resort is very clean and the staff most helpful and friendly. We had a superier room on level two which was adequate in size with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Linen and towels are changed daily when the rooms are serviced. The shower is inclined to flood the bathroom but a little ingenuity can minimise this. There is plenty of hot water though which is a big plus. In-room safe, pool towels, thongs and a calico beach bag are provided. Breakfast is included and eggs (cooked to your choice) with bacon plus juices, fresh fruits, yogurt,cereal etc. is ample. The restaurant is very good and serves both lunches and dinner. The meals are reasonably priced and presentation excellent. Thai and Western food is available, and a pepper steak with idaho potato and salad bar will set you back 350 bht (about A$11). Salathai offers great value for money and will definately be our choice the next time we are in Phuket. Don & Annie Kerr." |

| "Hotel is small yet luvly, very private & quiet though next to a side road. Had booked Salathai based on its past reviews (good ones) and its absolutely true. Bathroom is without bathtub but we dont mind as cleanliness is more important. Buffet spread could be improved though. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Salathai and will stay there again. " |

| "Good small hotel. Good price. Good loation, near to Patong beach, Central Ferstival and a lot of restaurants nearby. The hotel looks the same as the pictures show in website. Have a beautiful pool. The room is clean and the staff are nice too. The only thing I don't like is the toilet/bathroom. I would highly recommend this hotel to all who would like to stay in downtown/patong beach area. Worth the price." |
