| "It's such a masterpiece...very beautifully crafted. The place is just as the pictures said and even better !!! Especially the restaurant, sooooo nice, except the breakfast is very limited, not much choice. The room is a bit small, although you got all sufficient stuff for a living, I will prefer the little resting terrace outside to be indoor instead, as there's many mosquitoes and rather hot staying outside, a bit waste of space now. The swimming pool is not big either, still very beautiful, but since we go at low season, very few people there and it seems we own the pool. Somehow there should have some towels around the pool to make them handy for replacement as the towel never dried. If you'd prefer the beach, it's just a 10 min walk to the Kata beach. The staff are nice and friendly, although not all of them speak english, they react efficiently for any query. The best thing is that they have an individual PC in every room, this is the 1st hotel with such facilities I've ever seen, normally they have the wi-fi only. I've brought my notebook as well and I can use both the PC and wi-fi service with my own notebook, very convinence even you're a business man going for holiday.
During my stay they are expending some area, will have more rooms and 1 more swimming pool few months later, I'm looking forward to return :) " |

| "We stayed in 2 different hotels during our trip to Phuket -which was our first trip to Thailand- as we wanted to compare accomodations for future reference, and boy are we glad we chose this hotel for our last days in Phuket!
Location: Kata Beach was perfect for us, beautiful sandy beach, good selection of restaurants, away from noisy nightclubs. When we wanted to be in the crowd we simply hopped on our moped and rode 15 minutes to Patong beach. The moped cost us 150 Baht a day (that's 5.30 AUD!).In fact we rode everywhere!
Sawasdee Village itself is located within one of the side streets with a convenience store right at your doorstep.
The Resort: It actually is like a little tropical village! Little wooden cabins in a lucious little 'jungle', don't worry, insect spray is provided in the room. You don't need it in the room but if you want to sit around in the verandah you want this handy!
Overall this place has a very relaxing ambiance, it makes you forget the beach - almost. The breakfast room is simply gorgeous, with good variety of food. It's good that they provide chicken sausage for us non pork eaters, and serve it away from the pork ones.
Room facilities include cable TV and free internet, they actually provide each room with a PC.
The Staff: With only around 50 rooms, they give you a personalised service. They greet you by name, and go even beyond the normal Thai hospitality. The front desk staff speaks perfect English, so every enquiry and concerns were dealt with flawlessly. At the end of our stay, Noi from the front desk took a photograph of us in the garden, and present it to us in a Sawasdee Village photo frame as a souvenir.
As we mentioned before, we stayed at another hotel before and compared to the previous hotel which was only $10 cheaper, Sawasdee Village is a paradise! In fact we looked at other hotels and resorts as well when we were in Phuket, and always favour Sawasdee Village. Can't wait to go back there!" |

| "Sawasdee Village is as good as other trip reports touted. It is small, intimate and the staff is top-notch. The spa is well staffed and very affordable, and the food good (breakfast included). Dinners there are outstanding-we dined there twice during our stay. The grounds are well manicured making even the walk to breakfast a soothing endeavor. Noi and her staff attended to our every need. The beach is only a Tuk-Tuk ride away, and the surrounding area is comfortable to walk around. There is expansion in progress, so I hope they do not lose the intimate feel. " |

| "This was an excellent excellent hotel. The room was always clean, every amenity was provided, and the staff were absolutely lovely. The location was quiet and food was great and staff always greeted each and every request with a smile. They even had a libray to borrow books from. It was an absolute joy to stay there and I would do so again. " |

| "My fiance and I were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. We were greeted with fresh face towels and refreshing drinks. All the staff were more than hapy to assist us in making our stay incredible. We highly recommend this place for couples without children as it is a romantic setting. The gardens are beautiful and the rooms are very well presented. The rooms are very clean and the 24hr internet access in your own room makes organising the rest of your trip/ business very smooth running. We highly recommend this accommodation for couples looking for a romantic gateway. It is a situated in a quieter area but shops and beach are accessible with the free shuttle taxi provided by the resort. We will definately return in future." |

| "What a fantastic beautiful place with fantastic beautiful staff. After staying at another hotel at another location for the second week of our holiday we realised how good this hotel was. Not on the beach which makes this hotel lovely and quiet. Could not recommend it enough." |

| "First impression very good. Lots of mosquito's as ground of establishment is mainly water. The room is very dark even opening curtains does not help due to follage. Nice balcony but could not sit outside due to mozzies. No hot water in the sink, so no decent shave and no plug for sink. Very dark in bathroom.
Breakfast very limited. Swimming pool not big enough for size of complex and insuffiocient loungers.Staff excellent." |
