We have stayed here before and had a lovely time.
This time the hotel was very busy and we arrived late so the first night we got a room that was on the first floor, the room had not been used for a while so it smelt damp. During our 10 hours stay in this room we had several spiders and bugs.
Next day we moved to another room, which was over the hotel restaurant, very nice. We had no complaint at all until the night entertainment started. The guy who sang was very very bad, load and was on every night 19.00-23.00. We couldn't even hear our tv in our room.

| "Was very happy with this resort. Location was good; only a short stroll to the beach. Rooms were a good size and clean, staff were all friendly. Liked the option of having two pools to choose from. Food and beverage prices within the resort were quite expensive in comparrison to other restaurants in the area though." |

| "The staff need to speak at least basic english. Our shower hose fell off the wall and it took at least three days for someone to fix it. The loud music every night was a problem. Too loud and went til 11pm every night. Breakfast could be a little more interesting as it was the same thing everyday.
Apart from all this the location was perfect except for a lot of stairs. The staff overall were pleasant and the surroundings clean. We wanted to have two keys to the room but were told no. This was not always convenient if we went to separate places for shopping and massages.
We would stay there again but the staff need to understand our requests and be able to understand english. This was our biggest problem." |

| "Everything was fine except for the bathroom and the water. The bathroom seriously needs to be renovated. The plastic shower fixture that held the hand held shower in place, kept breaking. There were bugs on the bathroom floor. There were no hooks to hang up extra clothing and towels. Also the worst was the water. It was severely brown during my entire 11 day stay. On the last day of my stay, when we were getting ready for my son's wedding in Phuket, the hotel shut off all the water for a chlorination maintenance day. It was very inconvenient for us as we had to shower early in the dirty water and had to use our room to get ready. I received no compensation back for that. If the water was that bad in the future, I would not stay in the hotel again. The overall service, cleanliness, grounds, and breakfast buffet, were all fine. Better coffee would be a bonus too. The omellettes and freshly fried eggs were a nice treat.

| "We must have been located in the crappiest rooms available as they were so far away from the front of the hotel and were up 3 flights of steps (no elevator and lots of cases). The rooms looked like they needed a major overhaul. There wer ants crawling up the walls inside the room, the power was not working (until the hotel staff hot wired the room)and the appearance of the exterior was ghastly.
Would not recommend this at all unless they have other rooms that were better than this." |
