The location of this resort is pretty good, just cross the road & you are on Karon Beach. The staff are nice & polite. Nice american breakfast. Rooms are quite spacious and clean. We had a good time at this resort and would stay here again.

| "We had a great time at South Sea Resort on Karon Beach. The hotel is very nice with staff always wearing a smile. We were upgraded from standard rooms as the hotel is undergoing renovations. The breakfast on Day One was just about average but from day two, it was good. Karon beach was just across the road but swimming was not allowed due to the sea being rough and strong undertows. Karon beach was not a happening place as compared to Patong if one is looking for water scooters, para gliding etc. Overall a great place to stay in phuket with some good places to eat next doors." |

| "The South Sea Karon is good value for money, though it looks better from the outside than from the rooms. The pool was gorgeous. It was only one of the only properties along Karon Beach with guards outside the hotel, which is a nice bonus.
I liked that they had an ice-cream parlour and atm machine on the grounds of the hotel - made withdrawing money an easy task.
The semi-open air restuarant looks out into beautiful Karon Beach.
What i hated was the depressing toilet in my room. The shower curtain was dirty, and the bathtub was yellow with age. There were also tiny flies that would appear inexplicably each time, and were impossible to get rid of.
Luckily the room was spacious and cheery.

| "My friends and I received warm greetings from the staff upon arrival, we were served with thirst quenching apple juice.
The resort is situated by the beach, one can enjoy the cool sea breeze and scenery view at the lobby and cafeteria. There is a variety of choices provided for breakfast. The cafeteria is lively in the evening with live singing session, it is relaxing to listen to the tunes while enjoying cocktail drinks.
The buzzling street is within 5 minutes of walking distance, there is a variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
It feels just like home staying at South Sea. The environemnt is peaceful and quiet; the staff were friendly and helpful. We were satisfied with the services provided. I strongly recommend South Sea as a choice for accommodation at Karon beach! " |

| "I had a lovely stay and found the staff to be most helpful. All in all it was a delgithful experience in excellcellent surroundings. tHe hotel has a lovely swimming facility. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this resort to all groups of people. I think it would be a little out of the way for business use. " |

| "The hotel is in a good location, across the road from the beach and minutes from bars and restaurants.
Our room was at the back of the hotel so no sea or pool view but the room was fine. Some problems with no hot water to the room but staff responded quickly. Breakfast was good and enough variety." |
