| "Bit of a disappointment. The website looks so much better than the real thing! Even though the rooms seem to be cleaned every day (at least you see cleaning staff walking around) the standard of cleanliness is below par. Also, we booked a 'superior sea view' room. The only sea view we got were of electricity wires. Those rooms are also extremely noisy with the bar just beneath and the main road 5 meters away. Better take a pool view room! Breakfast was OK and so was the staff. It's at least half an hour walk to the centre. They have a shuttle bus but it is always full (and this was in low season!) so count on 200 baht to go anywhere. Even though we had booked a double room (not a twin) they gave us a room with 2 beds. It took them about an hour to fix it. The staff at the excursion desk was rude. We booked 2 motorbikes with them and they told me to come back 20 minutes later. When we got there she had given one away! I've stayed in Phuket many times before and there are much better hotels for the same price. My parents stayed in the cheaper Deevana hotel and it was so much better!" |

| "This is the second time I have stayed at the Sunset Beach within a year and and on both occasions enjoyed my stay,the Hotel pool view rooms are of a very good size including the bathrooms with more than adequate facilities & are well maintained & clean, the staff are pleasant & I found them to be very helpful.The Hotels location won't be ideal for everybody being at the far end of Patong Rd ,however the Hotel provides a free shuttle service (about 10 mins drive)to & from Bangla Rd & you may consider the distance an advantage when you see sunsets from the Hotels Beach Bar & are only a few metres walk to the beach itself. " |

| "The staff are friendly & generally provide a very good level of service.
Their information desk staff who sort out day tours are excellent!
I booked a deluxe room with a sea view. The first one had the view blocked by a plethora of electric power cables & some trees. I got to move to another room which was above the level of power cables, so a bit better.
The pool side is a little bit unfinished with plain concrete walls, making things a little dull. I guess they are yet to paint or plaster over these.
The food was also excellent in the hotel restaurant.

| "My wife & I enjoyed our stay. The location away from the main Patong Beach area is a huge plus. Once you work out the courtesy bus times, getting to & from the centre of Patong Beach is cheap & easy.
The service was always courteous & professional. The facilities & amenities are great value for money.
Do yourself a favour, stay awhile & relax." |
