| "I really enjoyed staying at the Thera Patong. The rooms were nice sized and clean. The balconies offered a nice view of the pool area. The pools were very nice and I enjoyed lounging on the chairs beside the pool. The Thera Patong is very close to the beach; it's less than a 3 minute walk. The hotel restaurants were a little pricy and include sales tax. I would recommend venturing out and trying some cheaper and more authentic Thai restaurants. There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities near the hotel. One nice thing about the resort was that they had a travel agency in the hotel. They were able to arrange all of our excusions (elephant trek and Phi Phi Island tour) easily and we were picked up at the hotel. The Patong Beach area is very busy and crowded. There are many people selling things and many bars. It was a nice beach to stay at because there is much to do and a good selection of stores and restaurants, but I didn't like being out late at night. The nice thing about Thera Patong, though, was that it was very quiet. Somehow they block out all of the noise from the surrounding area. My only complaint was that they had very limited TV channels, but who wants to stay in all day and watch TV when the beach is just outside your doorstep?" |

| "Overall great value for money. Staff are friendly if you initiate a "hello". Air con works well. Close to Patong beach and night life. I would def. stay again.
Stuff i didnt like:
- Bathroom grout was a little mouldy.
-I got stuck in a smoking room ( requested a NON smoking room )and they made out there were no other rooms. ( I went in low session, so that was *crap* ).
Stuff i liked:
-2 x Free bottles of water in room daily.
- Clean sheets.
- 4 or so restaurants to choose from and you can order beside the pool.
- Great bathroom ammenities.
- Excellent value for money.
- A/C worked well.
- Balcony.
- Very close to Patong beach
- Breakfast was included in my package and has some excellent choices.
Over all if you are looking for well priced acommodation and lots of value( which I got from Asiarooms ), I will be staying at Thara again.

| "Excellent hotel & facilities , but rates should reflect how busy the hotel is , ie when I stayed the hotel was almost empty , but I still had to pay full price - otherwise a great hotel " |
