My stay in the Access Resort was exactly what i was hoping for!! I loved that i wasn't stuck in a high rise, posh hotel, it had a real tropical holiday feel, especially being able to jump straight into the pool. The staff were always around to help but never in your face & my friend & i never had a single a problem. Even though it's not the closest hotel to the beach, we actually enjoyed the walk to the beach & from each day as it gave us a chance to soak up the local feel of karon beach restuarants shops etc

| "What an amazing place to stay! I couldn't have wished for more on our honeymoon and we would recommend to anyone to stay there, Honeymooners and families a like.
We loved the fact that all the rooms backed onto the pool and we could swim up to the bar was a bonus!
The staff were very friendly and always willing to help with a smile. If you have read a bad review about this place don't trust it, I had read a few in our research and found them all to be absolute hogwash!
I love The Access! Thanks guys for making our Honeymoon what we dreamed of!" |

| "This was the second time we has visited the Access Pool and Spa and as usual it was great. This resort is about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the main beech front road unless you are able to bypass the security on the gate at the "Old Phuket" resort as the road leads direct to the restaurants and beach front.
Since we has last been the resort had undergone some extensive renovations adding more rooms to the resort. The "Green" rooms are simply the older rooms however they are still quite modern and definitely up to standard. The "Blue" rooms are simply the newer rooms however I did not have the chance to look at them.
The greatest feature at this resort is simply the pool. Each room backs onto the pool which more a less weaves its way around and through the resort. It provides good privacy and is great after a hot day out. The staff are simply great, nothing is a bother and they are always more then willing to help.
As stated the resort is off the main strip and is quite near to the Hilton resort. A tuk tuk trip from the resort down to the main strip should cost you about 100-150 baht, to Patong is about 350 -400 baht and to the airport about 800 baht.
The resort has now also opened a restaurant that is about a 30 second walk away however we did not dine there. There any plenty of nearby restaurant's that are extremely cheap and safe to eat at. One we can highly recommend is "Ging's" it is at the beach end of the "Old Phuket" entrance.
The resort allows provides free wireless internet to guests if you happen to bring your own laptop otherwise they have a couple of pc's near reception that are available for a small fee.
The other great feature at this resort is that there is a 7/11 shop right out the front so you can stock up on supplies of food and drink rather then paying for room service. If you are sick of the hussle and bussle of Patong, I highly recommend this resort." |

| "The staff were really rude and unhelpful! We had two friends staying in other hotel came to have a drink in my room, but they were stopped by the staff from entering our room. The staff kept saying the room was only for 2, but my friends were not staying there that night. At the end we had to drink in the lobby, accompanied by many many mosquitoes.
I mean we paid for our room. How could they treat their guests like this. They could simply knock on our door and check if they're so afraid our friends were there throughout the night. We felt totally "disrespected".
The light in the bathroom was broken. The toilet roll-hanger kept damaging the paper. Everything was not right! The most horrible thing was I found a cockroach on my T-shirt which was hanged in the bathroom!!
Oh God, I couldn't believe that's a four-star hotel!" |

| "The rooms were very good, evreyting was clean and the fact you could step out of your room into the pool was great. the swim up bar was excellent. The most outstanding feature was the staff!!!! All lovely and friendly and very helpful" |
