The Yacht Club is the perfect retreat for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet, and yet the hotel's also within easy taxi distance to the more commercial resorts of Patong, Karon & Kata.
We stayed in the Deluxe Junior Suite, which was spacious and comfortable, however, the hotel advertises the rooms to consist of 'Thai fabrics and furnishings' this is not the case as only the cushions are made of Thai fabric! That said, the rooms are on the 7th and 8th floors and afford fantastic views over the bay....not to be missed.
The staff are extremely polite, helpful, and not at all intrusive.
One word of warning, the hotel is built into the side of a hill (which affords the beautiful sceanic views) but there's a very steep driveway to the main reception and the lift only goes up to the 6th floor. Elderly guests or guests with walking disabilities should therefore give careful consideration to staying here!

| "The entire experience was magical. The rooms have a beautiful view of the Andaman sea. Although the beach is not exclusive for hotel guests, Nai Harn is far away from the main tourist destinations like Patong and Karon and so the beach is not crowded at all and feels like a private beach. The staff and service are fantastic and always smiling and ready to help you; Thai hospitality at it's best. Highly recommended for couples looking for a getaway." |

| "A nice resort in a quiet and serene location. However, the hotel location is quite far from everything. Rooms on upper floors are difficult to access. Elevator only reaches 6 floors. Staff is not always consistent with their service. The same quality of service is not given to people staying alone or in cheaper rooms. Swimming pool lacks adequate seating for the size of hotel. | "Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good service. Pool quite small but that doesn't matter as there is plenty of space at the private beach. Breakfast is of highest quality although the choice is rather limited. Go for a room on the higher floors as you might have wonderful views on the beach and the surroundings. From the hotel to Patong costs you about 20$, to the airport about 25$ with the private taxis in front of the hotel. I would go there again, the hotel is specially suitable for couples. I wouldn't recommend it to families." |

| "Beautiful hotel with gorgeous view. Quiet and relaxing beach. Room is big with 1st class amenities.
However, there are only a few smiling and friendly staff." |
