My wife and i stay in Thiwa Ratri from Dec 29 to Jan 1 to celebrate countdown 2007 and 6th wedding anniversary (informed resort on Nov 06). We book a deluxe villa. On the first day, we are not welcome by any crew or help to carry our luggages at the lobby. There's no welcome drink or cold towel to be served. Furthermore, the front desk crew doesn't notice that we are checking-in. I thought the resort is 4* or 5*???? Most disappointment, the room is big but TV so small to match the space. Only 10 channels (4 Thai, 4 Europe & 2 Japan) are provided. No sport, HBO or discovery channel!!! Swimming pool wasn't catered any towel, request from crew they want u to collect at the lobby yourself. Approach Manager regarding their Resort service & facilities, unfortunetly is our bad encounter!!! Never expect u will enjoy your GYM exercise. No smile from this resort at all compare to the trip we had been to Samui-Anantara, Krabi-Tukaak or Bangkok-Holiday Inn (We are Thailand frequent traveller). I believe this resort is an local management, that's why the concept is so much difference from other place in Thailand. Personally, i will not recommend it, in-term-of concept, rate, services & facilities. Good luck!
