If you are unfortunate enough to read the description on -line or see a brochure then be warned.
We originally booked in for 3 nights and stayed 2 . Why ? The hotel eas almost empty. The restaurant, 100 m from our room was closed except for a brief time in the morning for breakfast , which was incredibly ordinary and one choice..the old style American breakfast with instant coffee and no tea. The second night we had to walk a mile to get some dinner as everything was closed. The beach was dirty. The hotel is not on the beach but you cross the road to get to it. The hotel is in disrepair with a skeleton staff of one receptionist and one very young guy sweeping leaves etc and he must have been no more than 16.There are no facilities in the hotel. The whole area is in a sad state, abandoned buildings and not even a 7/11.You could not buy a single piece of fruit and this is Thailand ! The fact that the hotel is misrepresented is annoying but I cannot find any contact point for Asia rooms to warn them.

Hot water doesn't come out.
The water of the rest room isn't washed away.
The service of the reception desk is improper.
It comes at about 4 o'clock for cleaning of the room.
The menu of breakfast is bad.
A beach is wide, and shallow, and far safe.
There are a few sightseers.
It is quiet because there is no open bar and so on.

| "At nearly 900 baht a night, you expect a lot more. The swimming pool hadn't been cleaned in months, the receptionists spoke no English (they didn't respond well to Thai, either), breakfast was bland and cold every day, and the rooms needed decorating.
Seawind is an aging two-star resort charing three-four star prices." |
