| "Nice hotel with nice and large swimming pool. Free wireless internet available in the lobby. Not far from Sukothai Historical Park. Good restaurant in the hotel. Good value for money." |

| "The hotel is effectively in the middle of nowhere - it is quite far from both the new Sukhothai town and the old Sukhothai park. The rooms, although quite big, are very basic, bathrooms perhaps could be adequate for a military camp. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired for and as a whole the hotel requires urgent refurbishing. Car service provided by the hotel is seriously overpriced but, given the location, leaves you with basically no alternatives. Definitely a place to be avoided." |

| "This was my third visit to this hotel over the last 2 years and what used to be a very aveage hotel is in need of some urgent refurbishments. The lifts smell and the rooms are poorly decorated. The buffet breakfast is barely adequate, but my biggest surprise was the surly attitude of the staff(cleaners excluded)compared with previous visits." |

| "We stayed 2 nights in the hotel (august 2006). The swimming pool is nice. That's all. We have been disturbed every night and every morning. The hotel is too noisy and the restaurant is not good.
We suggest Asia room should provide other hotels in sukhothai." |

| "Rooms are fairly basic but quite large. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little way out of town but one of the local buses will drop you right outside the door." |

| "I have stayed many times at the pailyn and have allways found it very pleasant. Rooms are a nice size and very clean, something not allways found in thailand. The swimming pool is a nice touch, with a poolside bar. There are about 6 or 7 hotels, guest houses nearer to the old city (maung gao)and plenty of buses that will pick up and drop off anywhere to and from the old and new cities. Not much night life but sometimes it's just nice to get out into the country. From gub severn, essex, england." |

| "This is a very large but rather characterless hotel. The room was clean but fairly basic and the hotel in general was a little ragged round the edges.
What struck us most about this hotel was how miserable and disinterested the staff were without exception. Our family even had competitions at breakfast to see who we could make smile! (Very unusual for Thailand!) Even the abundant stray cats were sulky.
The food at dinner was average and seemed to get recycled for breakfast. Go to the lovely twinkly restaurant over the road run by a lovely couple with good thai food.
This was our least favourite hotel of our stay.

| "Closest hotel to the old city sights (4km). Nice layout and good pool. Far from the new town (10km) and its limited amenities (eg Internet access)" |
