| "About 30km away from Sukhotai in opposite direction to Old City! No car service, only to next small town Si Samarong. No Internet. Wonderfully relaxing, beautiful landscape. English not spoken, only GM. Good for travelers who like to explore rural life." |

| "The hotel was once a luxurious resort centre. It still has a delightful suspension bridge and a beautiful garden, but the facilities are not in good shape, and some are out of service. The room is very large and clean, but old-fashioned. It is comfortable to stay in the room. The hotel is far from both new Sukhothai and the historical site. It is over 20 km. The hotel is still a good retreat site, but not a convenient place for tourists without a car." |

| "As we were driving around without our own car - the location was quite 'off the road' and I have to admit, I'd misinterpeded the added map.
But we had good luck and were able to have a car available, and we got around, not only to the historic Sokhothai park - but other interesting areas, all easily accessable. Location were quitet and food served were definatley ok. Recomended if u have your own transport to get around. Definately nice price for the room." |

| "Sukhothai Resort is a place with nice sorrundings.
It's a very relaxing place, with a water pond and a hanging bridge.
The service has improved a lot since last year.
But if you go by yourself to this resort, it's better when you have a car, since it's about 2 Kilometer from the mainroad and about 25 km of the Sukhothai Ruins.
If you are looking for a place to relax, you can be very happy in Sukhothai Resort. There are not many people to
disturb you. So I'm sure you will like it there." |

| "All buildings are too old and neglected. The hotel makes me think it’s dying slowly. The staff consists of 7-9 persons and only one woman hardly bad speaks English. No one guard and no any fence.
There isn’t any entertainment in the territory of this hotel. The breakfast is very poor. The hotel is situated at distant place near to local wild villages and some buildings ( a very loud music was sounding there day & night so we could not asleep without earplugs).

| "Slightly out of the way place, but placed between two hisorical sites. A slightly faded rose, but a quiet respite from the world. You can relax here and there is a pool. Friendly helpful staff." |

| "The Sukhothai resort is charming, especially the suspension bridge and well kept grounds. The rooms, however, badly need some renovations as the carpets are very worn and dirty, the toilet seat was badly cracked in many places which were badly discolored, and obviously bacteria filled. The tub must have been wonderful many years ago, but it was so badly discolored it was too scary to use. It is very very far from town and from the ruins, but it was very quiet and peaceful. Maybe if they got more business they would fix up the rooms a bit??? " |

| "The Sukhothai Resort is attractively layed out, with the rooms built around a central garden area with a small pond spanned by a suspension footbridge connecting the check-in area and the rooms. A restaurant/beer terrace looks out over the pond and suspension bridge. There are dirt trails running around the hotel and from the hotel along the river to the nearby village, which are suitable for running or off-road biking. The staff were friendly and helpful.
However, the rooms were unattractive, poorly furnished and lit, and ill kept. We moved from one room to another, but in both the furniture was old, with worn and faded surfaces, and there was mildew around the bathtub. In one room, some of the curtain hooks were torn loose from the curtain, and in the other room, the carpeting was badly stained and smelled bad. Our first night, the bedsheet was badly torn -- there was a gaping hole in it -- and the air conditioner was overly loud.
All in all, the rooms were far, far below what I would expect for the price. In addition, the breakfast buffet left much to be desired." |
