| "We stayed three nights at this hotel and, whilst we found it a little tired would undoubtedly stay again if we visit Udon Thani. The breakfast was adequate, staff very attentive and the typical Thai charm of this hotel really great. But the real issue with this hotel is that we consider it to be one of the best value for money that we have experienced in Asia. (We've tried a lot)Couldnt beat the location and suberb availability to dining and shopping. Don't miss this if you are looking for something less than a five star" |

| "it seems that this hotel and its personnel prefer Thai guests as compared with foreign ones. many of the staff have a very poor command of English.
Other problems include extremely unhelpful. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times they make it so difficult to get transport to the airport. it's a struggle each time and very annoying. The Internet in my room did not work for over 12 hours and when I asked if I could be refunded and they that within 1 hour it should be working. If then, it still was not working, they would refund me. One girl told me to try my laptop in the lobby, but I explained I paid 450 Baht so i could use the wireless in th room: she looked at me as though I had some kind of mental problem.
I think many of the Thai hotels need to have a more service-minded attitude or then not charge the prices they charge. " |

| "Dear Sirs,
Sorry, but it was impossible to use your form above to assess the hotel, it didn't work.
It was the worst hotel we had in the last 18 years in thailand! We never will go back.
The room we booked with you (Deluxe) was old as the hotel is (but this wouldn't be any problem), but the carpet dirty, the bed cover partly damaged and the bathroon not clean. So we had to upgrad to a senior suite for triple of the price we payed to you. This room was exceptable clean.
The service people were very unpolite, e.g. when we arrived the very first information was "you can not park your car here infront of the hotel!" - no hello or did you make a reservation in our hotel or ... Also the reception people were rather unpolite and incompetent: They needed about 20 minutes for calculating the difference between the price we already payed to you and the new price of the senior suite and for manageing the payment with my creditcard!
The only friendly people, as we are used to meet in Thailand, was the guardian at the parking area! Also the service people of the italian restaurant, which belongs to the hotel but is managed by an external company, was extremly polite - the opposite of the hotel staff.
In summary: We never will go back in this hotel!
Best regards
Karl-Heinz Stumpf" |

| "You get what you pay for. If you need to visit Udon Thani then this is the best option. It is right next door to a large shopping complex. If you are expecting the quality of Thailands five star esatblishments then you will be disappointed. For the purpose of my visit it did the job." |

| "Located just a minute walk from Charoensri Complex, Udorn's largest shopping mall, and mere ten minutes walk to Centerpoint area, where you can enjoy various local foods and beer garden in night time.
Hotel and its rooms are clean and pleasant.
Occasionally shower lacks to provide enough hot water but that only happens in the bust morning time.
Paying only 1500Baht or so and you can stay this hotel is abosulely a good choice, perfect for business trip, but if you are looking for enjoying relaxing time then Ban Chiang may be an another choice.
BTW, no slipper provided, if you want it, just buy one at any shoes shop nearby. " |

| "The Junior Suite is a huge room and fair value. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but o.k.
CharoenSri Grand is certainly the best choice in Udon." |

| "Nice hotel with spacious rooms. The location is perfect, in the centre and next to Charoensri Shopping Centre. The best hotel in town." |

| "We arrived at the hotel on a Saturday afternoon and being next to the shopping mall it was very busy with traffic. So much so that there was no where to park and no help from the staff. We had to park some distance away and could not even pull up to unload our bags. Whilst this would normally not be a problem to some for myself who is disabled and who walks with a stick a long walk carrying bags is not ideal. Even on getting to the hotel no assistance was offered with the bags even after checking in. The room ws ok but very smelly due to the airconditioning vents which were covered in green mould and quite frankly this gave us a cough after 3 days. On arrival there were no towels in the room, these arrived in parts over the next 3 hours. Towels were never fully replaced on subsequent days until sometimes 6pm. This meant that the staff were knocking at the door several times a day for access. Whilst eating an evening meal we gave a specific request for some food which was totally ignored and therefore due to an allegy non of it would be eaten. The hotel gets very full because of large meetings and weddings etc and there can be a long wait for most things. They do not have internet access in the rooms or elsewhere which is a shame in a 3 star hotel. There is just one computer that can be used in the lobby and always a long wait for it. " |

| "The hotel is a good bet, although i have not tryed others in udon,i stayed here in 2007 and again in 2008.The hotel is not new but in fairly good condition. The lobby is very nice and good parking available.I think the only minor improvement would be the breakfeast variety of food. also by 9;00 am you may out of luck when some items are depleted, and not replenished." |
