The cabaret dance form goes back to the days of 15th century French streets, bars and taverns. However, by the end of the 19th century, cabaret dances established itself as an avant garde creative form. This form of art revolutionized the entire form of dance and songs. There are no proper set stages of performance for this dance form. This dance form reflects the political, economic, cultural and traditional ingredients of a particular society.
There is no admission fee for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. The celebration continues for 15 days in month of June. Over three hundred artists from all quarters of globe participate to make the festival successful. The performance includes not only dances, but also theater, comedy, music and many more.
