Camden Classic Athletic Carnival

The participants in the Camden Classic Athletic Carnival, Adelaide are designed to even up the competition like it is done in horseracing so that the running is more fascinating and unpredictable and gives everyone a chance to go for the prize. Athletes such as Steve Brimacombe, Brad Jamieson, Mark Ormrod, Nova Peris and Tamsin Lewis have all overcome their shortcomings to win South Australia Athletic League events. The Camden Classic Athletic Carnival, Adelaide is used to represent the country. There are 16 carnivals scheduled for the 2006-07 season. The first meeting of the Camden Classic Athletic Carnival, Adelaide was held at the Hallett Cove Oval in October 2006.
This will be followed by a meeting comprising a selection of sprint races - 70m, 100m, 120m, 200m, 300m, and 400m, and middle distance races. The South Australia Athletic League has many registered and experienced coaches who are willing to help athletes improve their mettle at the Camden Classic Athletic Carnival. They will benefit in terms of technique, fitness and speed. All you have to do is get in touch with the coaches who are registered at the South Australia Athletic League. The highlight of the season for the runners at the Coopers Camden Classic is a 400m race.
