One of the premier venues of South Australia, the Adelaide Showground is managed by the oldest business associations of Adelaide. In its current location, the Adelaide Showground has been home to the Royal Adelaide Show which is the state's largest single event since 1925 when the showground moved from North Terrace to Wayville.
