South Australian Maritime Museum

The main gallery of the museum that is the bond stores is located in the famous Lipson Street. This store was built in 1850. Weman Building, which is an amazing two storey bank building, is the administrative centre of the museum. This building was built in the year 1888.

This historic lighthouse was built in the year 1869.the visitors can climb the spiral stairs and get a scope to have a stunning view of Port Adelaide, the Adelaide Plains and the Mount Lofty Ranges from this lighthouse. Within the range of 100 meters from the Lighthouse you may come across floating vessels of the museum, the Steam Tug Yelta. You can also view the Archie Badenoch, built in the year 1940s.
