Tramway Museum, St Kilda, Adelaide is one of the most celebrated tram museums of its kind. People from all across the globe come to visit this museum with their friends and relatives. This popular tram museum was built in the historic year of 1974. This extremely popular Museum is owned and controlled by the Australian Electric Transport Museum Inc. This museum is located in St Kilda Road, St Kilda.

The St Kilda Tramway Museum in Adelaide has a huge collection of old trams belonging to its former tram network. This museum stresses importance on electric tramway system. This popular museum has collections of 20 trams. Out of which 14 are still in service. It also has two Adelaide horse trams and four electric trolley buses also. The visitors can enjoy the tram rides running between the Museum and the St Kilda Adventure Playground. This 2 km tram ride is loved by people of all ages. The museum has beautifully preserved the historic trams of the city that were operational between 1878 to the middle of 1950.The main attraction of the museum is the Australia's first electric trolley bus. This museum is usually visited by people during holidays. The museum offers good toilet and car parking facilities to its visitors.

Opening timings for the museum:
The Tramway Museum St Kilda remains open for the visitors from 1pm to 5pm on Sundays and on Public Holidays. On Good Friday and Christmas day the Tram Museum remains closed for public viewing. From 26th December to New Year's Day daily the museum remains open for public viewing.

Admission fee:
The Adults have to pay a charge of $10.00 to enter the tram museum.
Children within the age group of 4-14 years can enter the park by paying a fee of $6.00.
The family can enjoy in the park by paying a fee of $24.00.
