The focal point of Gallery Gondwana, Alice Springs is the Indigenous art from Australia and its neighbouring countries, which once shaped part of the super continent Gondwana. It is the house of the finest in contemporary Aboriginal paintings, Australian design, and arts from the Pacific region. Set up in 1990, Gallery Gondwana, Alice Springs has always acknowledged and actively supported the vitality of the contemporary art of Indigenous cultures through various exhibition programs that displays both well-known and promising artists. Every time it exhibits artists with no direct alliance with an arts centre, all artists are treated in accordance with fair and unbiased trade practices as delineated by the Australian Commercial Gallery Association. Gallery Gondwana is located at 43 Todd Mall, the main street in Alice Springs town centre, near the canvas "sails" a local landmark. From its initiation Roslyn Premont, the owner, boosted local artists and supplied canvas and paint and finally a studio, this gallery is a gathering place for local and visiting artists. Gallery Gondwana, Alice Springs has launched collectors special membership section to offer the clients on time access to reserved works and other privileges with a protected and consistent service.
