Olive Pink Botanic Garden

Though initial growth as a botanical garden was made by Miss Pink herself along with her gardener named Johnny Jambijimba Yannarilyi, however, later in the early 1980's the populace saw an increased development with the establishment of irrigation and the building of a tourist centre, completed in 1985. Miss Pink lived within the premises of the garden until her death.
You can view over 300 of Central Australia's plant species within this 16 hectare garden with a lot of in areas of replicated locale that reflect their natural occurrence. These habitats consist of a mulga woodland, a desert sand dune system, a creek floodout and a rocky waterhole. The large rocky hills that carry naturally occurring vegetation are located above these.
