- By-laws control the vehicle access to Todd Mall to make it safe for pedestrians. As there are a number of pedestrians in the mall, entry of bicycles, scooters and skates in the mall is forbidden and a fine can be charged for the same.

Todd Mall is liveliest on Sundays, when large crowds of shoppers throng at its wide range of market stalls. Generally, markets are held at Todd Street every two weeks after January and weekly during July. Market days are advertised in the Friday newspaper before the market.
