The four week long Festival is a visual treat and the carnival is one of its kinds in the world featuring cultural programs and social events, including a launch party, the Fair Day, the Parade and Parties. The Sidney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras portrays Sidney's free spirit in accepting and promoting gay and lesbian community.
