Location: This picturesque peninsula of Freycinet is located in eastern Tasmania and named after French Explorer Louis de Freycinet. Accessibility: The adjoining town to the peninsula is the Coles Bay and Swan sea. There is no scheduled air service to the Freycinet peninsula. The nearest airport to the place is Launceston. The Freycinet National Park is a two-hour drive from the said airport. There are charter planes operating from Coles Bay or Hobart or Launceston.
