Location: Norfolk Island is situated in the southern Pacific at the east of the Australian continent between New Zealand and New Caledonia. It is the main island of a group of isles in the territory. Covering an area of about 34.6km square the island has an extensive stretch of coastline and no large internal water bodies as such. Accessibility: The Island can be reached by air. The major portion of the island is dedicated to national parks and reserves which has several walking trails that proffers spectacular vistas. Mountain biking and bush walking are also the other two favourite activities of the island.
