Holidays are days of significance and are celebrated nationwide or in particular provinces. Australia holidays are days Australians celebrate with cheer and gusto. The national holidays are ones which are celebrated all over the country. Every province or state celebrates a holiday on these days. Law requires that a loss of public holiday be compensated by the employer or paid as a penalty though employees may sign specific employer-employee contracts forfeiting such compensation or penalty.
