Parklife Festival Brisbane

The Parklife Festival, Brisbane is organized by Fuzzy, Ten Pound Crew & Slingo Day and the event kicks off spring in Australia. The festival is a delight for the party lovers and features world class DJs and performers, who further enhance the party. Last year the venue of the event was RNA Showgrounds.

The Parklife festival is renowned for its musical performances and in 2006; the event was able to live up to its expectations. The event is extremely popular with the residents of Brisbane and the people from all the sections of society come together and party in the parks and streets of the city. The highlights of the event are the live musical performances by domestic as well as international artists. DJs have become an integral part of the festival and world-class DJs belt out remixes of latest and old chartbusters, which will force you to wear your dancing shoes and groove to the beats of the music. A wide variety of music is dished out in the festival that include of house, rock, electro, hip-hop, dub, breaks, beats, turntablism and more.

The 2006 edition of the festival was a gala event. It boasted of the biggest line up of musicians including notorious DJs, hip hop stars, cult names, and bands. This was the first time that all these artists performed live in Australia. Some of the artists that performed live in the festival in 2006 are Mixmaster Mike, Coldcut , Krafty Kuts, Peter Hook from New Order, Cut Chemist, Butterfingers, Salmonella Dub, Mattafix , Tim Deluxe, Stanton Warriors, Freeform Five and many others.
