How to reach: The Brisbane Botanic garden takes only 15 minutes from the Brisbane city by car. Also, you can reach the place by ferry or bus services.
Time: The Garden is open everyday from 8am to 5pm. Entry to the gardens is free to all.

- The Japanese Garden is the major attraction of the Gardens that features stone, water, paths and vegetation in accordance with its theme that is - mountain-pond-stream - . The S- shaped path makes you unable to see what lies in the next section thus adding to the element of mystery.
- See a large variety of ferns in the Fern House that has been recently opened.
- The amazing Bonsai house which is made of clay walls, sports more than a hundred bonsai versions of plants like maples, figs and conifers. Some of the plants are almost 80 years old.
- Breath in the exotic fragrance from various herbs in the Herbs garden! The viewers are allowed to touch the herbs in order to release the perfume.
- Visitors must also enjoy the rugged beauty of the Cactus House.
- The Australian plant Community includes native Australian plants, some of which are also rare and endangered species. The area also includes an artificial lagoon.
- There is also The Tropical Display Dome that comprises of tinted panels in an aluminum frame.
- The Gardens also display a freedom wall that was built in 1995 to celebrate 50 years of Australia's victory in the pacific.
- Apart from these, there are also rainforest areas and bamboo groves for the visitors to explore.
Other facilities: The Garden Herbarium also offers botanical information to curious visitors. Also, there is a planetarium, picnic areas, café, gift shop or The Miskin Gallery and a library in the Gardens. Three sections of the garden are also rented for celebration of wedding ceremonies and there is also an Auditorium for various exclusive exhibitions.
While Guided Walks give you a more detailed and compact knowledge of the garden, the adventurous people can also take a map and explore the Gardens all by themselves.
