Popularly known as the “Hell Hole of South Pacific”, the Saint Helena Island had been home to the most defamed criminals of Queensland for 65 years. This famous prison house locality is now transmuted into a national park and is a place of great tourist interests owing to its historical value. Travel: The Saint Helena Island is only 4kilometres from the mouth of Brisbane River.
