The facility showcase films on two giant outdoor screens. Measured 110 ft by 44 ft, the screens make movie viewing possible even from a distance. Showcased mainly during summer holidays and winter holidays, the outdoor theatre screens more than 90 movies per year. Since the theatre is located outdoor, there is huge car parking space available. A massive parking space for close to 575 cars, this theatre gets very crowded during really good movies. There are four films that are screened daily at the Yatala Drive-In Cinema in Brisbane. The first show time starts from 7:15 in the evening and the last one starts at 9 o' clock at night. Two different movies are played simultaneously on two separate screens. So you can always shift your choice if you do not feel like watching a film. The best thing about this outdoor theatre is that you can watch your favorite flick sitting on the rooftop of your car. No need to mention that you can munch, crunch as well as drink while watching the movie. The Yatala Drive-In Cinema is located along Jacobs Well Road, Yatala in south Brisbane. The price of the tickets varies. Ticket for an adult, for instance, varies between 10 and15 Australian dollars. However there is discount for the senior citizens. Kids under 6 years are allowed to enter absolutely free of cost. The ticket rates are however subject to change.
