TO GET TO THE AUSTRALIAN WOOLSHED : Take a train from Brisbane Central to Ferny Grove station, and just stroll down to the Australian Woolshed .

TIMINGS: You can visit the Australian Woolshed Brisbane all the year round, from 8:30 am to 4 pm, except on

  • Christmas Day, 25 th December and
  • Anzac Day

Some of the top shows include:

Woolshed Ram Show : Get introduced to eight trained rams representing the major Australian sheep breeds, ranging from fine wool merino to the carpet wool Tukidale. Let a master sheep shearer show you how sheep shearing is done.

Show Timings: 9:30am, 11 am, 1 pm and 2:30 pm

Working Dog Show : Get amazed by the diverse talents of the three trained sheep dogs, Pam, Hudson and Ricky

Animal Farm: Turn farmer for a day n try your hand at bottlefeeding frisky li'l lambs and milking a cow! Handfeed kangaroos and wallabies, watch wombats or flightless emus, visit koalas in their natural environment and even get to cuddle ‘em! Preserve this ‘cuddly' moment forever by getting a digital pic taken and placed in a commemorative folder by the Woolshed staff.

You need only one ticket to enjoy these three amazing shows!

Exhausted by the fun farming experience? With trained lifeguards present, get set to speed down the waterslides with family in tow. The waterslides operate on weekends as well as school and public holidays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm .

Water shy? Try launching a strike on the mini golf course.

SHOPPING: The award-winning Woolshed Supply Store has everything from including postcards, woollies, sheep skin slippers to stuffed animals n more!

FOOD:The Woolshed dining Hall provides breakfast and buffet lunch Menus. The lunch menu is available only for tour groups.

For individuals and small groups there's the Wattleseed Café which offers a la carte cuisine.

With prior arrangement, you may have a shot at barbecuing your own meal in the Woolshed Barbecuing area with equipment available on the house

After a week of farm activities, it's time for a weekend bush dance! Organised at the Woolshed, the weekend Bush Dance and Dinner Night lets you jive to a country music band, learn the native dance steps and have a great 2 course meal! Participation in the Bush Dance is by appointment only.
