Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo, Brisbane
Home to late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, the Australian Zoo exhibits his will to protect, conserve and love wildlife. The Irwin family is dedicated to help people help wildlife and with this motto they nurture all the animals in the zoo.


Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Brisbane
Situated over 20 hectares of land and 15 minutes from Brisbane CBD, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (established in 1927) is the first and the largest koala sanctuary in the world. Home to around 130 koalas and 80 other species of animals this sanctuary also supports various research and conservation programs.


Boondall Wetlands Reserve, Brisbane

An amalgamation of melaleuca wetlands, salt marshes, tidal flats, grasslands, mangroves, and woodlands, The Boondal Wetlands Reserves is a store house of diverse flora and fauna. Situated at the edge of Morton Bay between Boondall, Nudgee Beach and Shorncliffe, and extending over 1000 hectares of land this wetland is listed under the Ramsar convention for its international importance.


Fort Lytton National Park, Brisbane
Entrenched in the cultural history of Australia, Fort Lytton National Park is one of the many coastal fortifications of 19th century Australia. A present day national heritage, picnic spot and now a park this fort has become a nexus between history and modern day enjoyment. Brisbane Forest Park, Brisbane
A part of D'Aguilar Range, Brisbane forest Park is in true terms a natural reserve for Australian wildlife. Located between 10 and 35 kilometers from Brisbane's north-western boundary, this park captivates one with its sheltered subtropical rainforests, gorges and spectacular view. The park is famous for its distinct wildlife example: Platypus, Wallabies, bush - tailed Phascogale etc.


Currumbin Sanctuary, Brisbane
Spreading over 27 hectares of land and a haven to around 1400 animals, Currumbin Sanctuary is among Australia's popular holiday destinations. Open from 8am to 5pm this sanctuary also caters to wild night adventures from 7:15 pm to 9:45 pm. Amidst charming surroundings and beautiful locations of Gold Coast this Sanctuary is a must see of Australia.

Lamington National Park, Brisbane
Part of the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves of Australia (CERRA) World Heritage Area, Lamington National Park covers 20,590 hectares of sub tropical rainforests and is of enormous ecological importance. The park lies 110 kilometers from Brisbane, a two hours drive and one will experience the outstanding beauty of the area.
