The two storied heritage building of the Cairns Regional Gallery is a wonderful place to experience the vibrant visual arts of the Tropical North Queensland. The elegant gallery with all its aura and glory attracts a number of tourists from almost all places.

The gallery is located at the corner of the Abbott and the Shields Street. The Cairns Regional Gallery is located in the award winning building that is located in the central Cairns of North Queensland. Exhibits
There are four individual spaces that host almost a total of 30 exhibitions annually.
The beautiful gallery hosts a fine display of art of Australia and abroad. The collection includes historical and contemporary art work that includes the art works of the Aboriginal and the Torres Strait Islanders. The gallery houses also a fine display of the artworks of the local artists who work in different regional art communities of Queensland. The art works of the artists from the topical north are also there on a display. The gallery has been a major attraction for artists like Russell Drysdale, Donald Friend, Ian Fairweather, and Margaret Olley. The Gallery Shop
The Gallery Shop with its high quality of ceramics, glass wares, jewelry, prints, cards and books are houses there for sales. The exhibition changes from every four to eight weeks, thereby hosting a new one altogether.
Located at the front of the gallery are the café Perrotta’s with its mouth- watering flavors of coffees and super beverages. Timings
The gallery is open for the public from 10 in the morning to 5 in the evening. The park is open on all days from Monday to Saturday except Sunday on which it is open to public from 1 pm to 5 in the evening.
