Anglican Church missionary Ernest Gribble interest in the aboriginal tribe inhabiting the Yarrabah area inspired the tribe to accomplish a mission. He with the tribal leader Menmuny carried ou the mission which is known as the Yarrabah community. The mission came to an ending in the late 1960s with the new Yarrabah community coming under the Queensland government. What to see

From the Bruce Highway you need to move some 20 kilometers south of Cairns. Take the road along trinity and move along it until you come across the steep hill of the Yarrabah community.
