You can enjoy a walk in the rainforest. The place has some of the beautiful walking tracks. You can also enjoy swimming in the great swimming holes that are present in great numbers. The place also abounds with a diverse variety of wildlife. If you are lucky enough and at the same time careful, then you can see a Boyd’s Rainforest Dragon basking on a giant rocky moss.
The George is the ancient site of a few aboriginal legends. There are innumerable tours that take you through the rainforest explaining all the details that how they aboriginals made use of the plants in their daily life. The tour guides are in most cases are Kuku Yalanji and are well acquainted with the stories and the legends of the aboriginals.
The three kilometers of the George circuit takes you to the wooden suspension bridge from where you can enjoy the scenic beauty.
