General information
The path is spread to an extent of 1.3 kilometers that takes a minimal of 40 minutes. The Red Arrow Walk leads you to the Mt. Whitfield Conservation Park located behind the Cairns Botanical Gardens.
As you move along the track you would see that the path splits into two ends forming the Blue Arrow. The steep climb which ascends to a height of 365 meters is meant for those who dare to face the arduous path. Drinking water is a must.
The dense vegetation of the mountains that is characteristically of tropical rainforest type includes tall bamboos and vast expanses of grasslands. Catch a glimpse of the turkey. When you reach the top of the Red Arrow Walk see the spectacular views of the Trinity Inlet and the Coral Sea.
What to see
The Mt. Whitfield Conservation Park is a typical rainforest area containing two walks. As you move along the track you can see a number of wildlife. Enjoy the beauty of the Botanical gardens encompassing an area of 38 hectares exhibits a diversified range of flora. The total area that have been divided into three sections hosts for its tourists a number of walks.
How to get there
Reaching your destination is no big problem. You can get a number of public transports that are available from the Marlin Coast Sunbus.
