The CSIRO Discovery, Canberra was established in 1926 and has been open to the public from May 2000. The building, which is wonderful to look at, has several interesting scientific displays. There is also a Café, laboratories and education centers.

Features: The CSIRO Discovery showcases all recent scientific discoveries that include research into green energy, Australia's woodland biodiversity, three dimensional touch screen computers and the latest in gene technology. There are educational CD ROMs and microscopes available to children who have great fun putting on white lab coats and being a scientist for some time. In CSIRO Discovery, Canberra there is something to entertain people of all age groups. The displays not only educate but they also entertain and make the whole awareness process a whole lot interesting.
