If you think the capital of Australia is just a stuffy city full of civil servants who don't know how to have fun, you could not be more wrong. Though it is probably true that the city does not quite party like its other counter parts Melbourne and Sydney, there is no reason why you should be bored in this city.

Canberra also offers you a huge range of cinema halls and theatres to choose from.
Some of theses are Pacific 6 in Tuggeranong, Hoyts in Belconnen and Woden, Greater Union in the city and Manuka and Cosmopolitan Twin Cinemas in Woden. Ronin Independent--Center Cinema and Electric Shadows are the theatres where you could catch alternative and Australian films.
