NT Expo

One of the well-known festivals of Darwin is NT Expo, Darwin.

Since 1975, NT Expo, Darwin is an annual trade event in Darwin, which was started by the Darwin Lions Club. From 1980 to 1990, the Expo was controlled by the (then) Confederation of Industry and Commerce and the (then) Master Builders Association. From 1990, the Chamber took over complete administration of NT Expo and from that time, the Chamber encouraged its expansion to an international trade exhibition, including exhibitors coming from South East Asia, Australia and the Northern Territory and it provides a high-level discussion for the exchange of ideas and information expected to increase local, national and international trading opportunities. Till 2005, NT Expo was held in the open and centrally placed grounds of the Darwin High School. There is a good relation between the Chamber and its members and the Chamber will work intimately with all members, Government, the Business community and City Council to confirm that Expo 2007 will be benefited.

The NT Expo, Darwin has grown to become one of the biggest and most successful trade exhibitions of its kind in Australia. One can join in NT Expo, Darwin either as an exhibitor, displaying his products or services to more than 20,000 prospective clients, or as a delegate, giving him the opportunity to set of connections with business leaders and senior government officials from both Australia and the Asian region.
