Darwin is one of the important tourist destinations of Australia.Getting to Darwin is most convenient as the city is well connected by air, land and sea. Excellent sealed highways offer ease of access into Darwin. The Stuart Highway is sealed all the way from Adelaide, the Barkly Highway from Queensland and the Victoria Highway from Western Australia. For the more exploratory travelers, travel to Darwin may also be made by way of the Gulf Track, entering our region from Queensland on an unsealed road which starts at Wollogorang.

Daily scheduled flights to Darwin operate from every mainland Australian capital city. Darwin, being the closest Australian capital city to Asia, has regular international air services from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei. You can travel by train and enjoy the experience of one of the great overland journeys of the world. The legendary GHAN train now travels the 3,000 kms plus route from Adelaide to Darwin travelling through the stunning Australian outback.
