- Crocodylus Park Wildlife Research and Education Centre
For the dare devils, Crocodylus Park near Darwin offers a rare opportunity to
view crocodiles from a comfortable, close proximity. Apart from the close encounters
with this predator of the marsh waters, the Park also offers a museum displaying
information on the evolution and diversification of crocodile species. Here you
can find an interesting display of a large number of live crocodiles, a variety
of primates, birds, turtles, and iguanas.

- Howard Springs Nature Park
Welcome to the 283 hectares of sheer natural beauty in the form of Howard Springs
Nature Park. This nature reserve features a variety of diverse habitats, including
monsoon forests and extensive swamps. Visitors are permitted to picnic in the
shady areas and can enjoy a relaxing swim in the waters as well (the swimming
hole is crocodile free). Nature lovers can see a wide variety of wildlife, birds,

Litchfield National Park, located about100 km (62 mi) south of Darwin, is a
unique Nature park of Darwin featuring termite mounds and waterfalls from the
Tabletop Range as well as offering examples of the habitats of the Northern
Territory's Top End. Visitors can enjoy camping, picnic, swimming, and walking
in this park.

- Indo Pacific Marine
For those who have special fondness for the wonderful underwater world should
come to the Indo Pacific Marine, a marine environmental and research center.
Here they can marvel at many different displays of small underwater ecosystems,
including a full living coral reef. To keep the display as natural as possible,
no new fish is introduced to the ecosystem except as feed for those, which are
carnivorous.
