The Lexmark Indy 300 is a major car-racing event in Gold Coast, Australia. It is one of the most loved and popular events of the city, which is attended by a large number of people from all across the world. It is a four-day gala. A large number of companies sponsor this race. One can see the 750 horsepower champ cars and the 620 horsepower V8 Super cars racing with one another in this race. The number of laps usually varies from 57 to 60 or sometimes even more. This however varies from year to year. Statistics have shown that the winners of the race have never been the same. Every year there is a new winner. This makes the race even more thrilling. In the year 2004 Bruno Junquiera was the winner while in the year 2005 the winner was a French gentleman called Sebastien Bourdais.
