Starting from the month of January right down to December, a large number of fantastic festivals are held in Hobart. A majority of the festivals are however held in the month of February. is held in the month of January in Cygnet, a small town located near Hobart.

the visitors.
The Royal Hobart Regatta also forms part of the numerous Hobart festivals and
events. Held since 1838, this event involves a friendly competition between
the merchant navy and local sailors. The visitors are served food and beer free
of cost in this grand event. This event is held in the month of February and
is a three-day event.
The Hobart Summer Festival is the most famous festival of Hobart, Held in the month of December, it is held for eleven days. It is one of the largest food and wine festival of Tasmania. People come over here to savor the delicacies sold over here and take a look at the numerous shows and entertainment programs held during this festival.
