Snowy Range Trout Fishery is one of the most popular fisheries in Hobart. This

The working hatchery of the fishery approximately produces about a million of
salmon eggs every year and about 100,000 rainbow trout.

vocational tours. This popular fishery caters to the needs of both the primary
and the secondary students. Primary students can take part in activities like
fish feeding; can also view the fish from close distance. The visitors can also
try to catch some fish in this pond with a rod and reel. Secondary students

The Snowy Range Trout Fishery remains open for the visitors all round the year.
The Fishery only remains close on Christmas Day. The fishery opens daily for
its guests from 9am to 5pm.
